My favorite teacher strategy is...
I love being silly with the kids, and letting them feel like it's okay for them to be silly too. I incorporate this with silly pictures, videos, etc. High enthusiasm=high buy in, if I'm okay making a fool out of myself, they are okay being wrong, or struggling in front of their peers.
