Amanda Scheidemantel

My favorite teaching strategy to see in the classroom is when students are collaborating with one another to create something new.

Google Apps for Education is a great teaching tool that can lead to the following strategies:

1. Communication
2. Collaboration
3. Critical Thinking
4. Creativity

Use Google Docs to create a shared doc and use it for group research and presenting on STEAM topics.

Felicia Pusateri

One strategy I enjoy using with my students is jigsaw or collaborative groups.

One of my favorite teaching strategies is building consensus with a collaborative group.

Ashley Duke

My favorite teaching strategy is using self monitoring. I have students record their progress in class folders, and the folders can turn into portfolios as the year goes on ( at least till we go completely digital)

Pamela Tarango

The most effective teaching strategy for me, as a student, was for a teacher to provide some kind of inspiration and to set a goal, and let me run with it.

Christy Rosander

I love to have the student physically respond to questions.

Kevin Blankenship

My favorite teaching strategy at the moment is cooperative learning. I like to be able to teach a concept and see students work together to solve a problem or complete a task.

Tom Karnes

Having my students use individual whiteboards keeps everyone engaged and I can easily check for understanding.

My favorite teacher strategy is...
I love being silly with the kids, and letting them feel like it's okay for them to be silly too. I incorporate this with silly pictures, videos, etc. High enthusiasm=high buy in, if I'm okay making a fool out of myself, they are okay being wrong, or struggling in front of their peers.
